Excellent performance by Tom Hardy

Stewart's biography of this character was first seen in the library at Zhejiang University's Zijingang campus. I know it's a true story because of the movie. And let's not talk about Tom Hardy's excellent performance, since Stewart's story started, I've been in the quagmire.

I really like sad characters, and I knew from the beginning of the movie what was going to happen at the end. The moment Tom Hardy's hoarse, dry voice came out of the recorder, my tears couldn't stop.

This movie doesn't have much family, love, friendship, all the emotional lines are just understatement. All that the film describes is the pain of Stewart's past and future, and the joy of a short stay (experienced at the parade).

The first time the movie made me emotional was what he said when he set himself on fire, I want to force the demon out of my body. I'm sure any audience will say, you're not wrong. It makes me think about life, who among us is wrong. I wish I had a chance to cry with the characters in those movies, like a group of dying people in a church.

The biggest shock to me about the movie is that Stewart keeps hiding the reason he doesn't want to say why he was in adult prison for the first time. He suffered a mental relapse after his wife woke up the child, beat his wife and self-harmed and was finally arrested. The director made the plot here very calm, without the previous bloody violence, black humor and even exaggerated descriptions of behavior, but this happened to be the most difficult experience for him to describe. I didn't understand it at the time, but later I realized that the pain he thought had already surpassed what ordinary people thought was very impressive. It was not those physical pains, but the miserable and painful life written for him by his emotions and experiences.

At the end of the film, the end of the film echoed, and Stewart finally committed suicide by lying on the track, leaving Alexander a tape. From the low voice it came out, until the end of the movie, my tears didn't stop, either at the beginning or at the end. I don't remember the contents of the tape.
