One of the modes in Nicholas Sparks' novels: soldier + beauty + chance encounter + faint sadness

After reading so many Nicholas Sparks novels, and watching so many movies based on those novels, it's not hard to see that they all have certain patterns. In recent years, it seems that the model of "soldiers + beautiful women + chance encounters + a touch of sadness" has been used the most. The hero of "The Notebook" has gone to join the army, the hero of "Breakup Letter" is a soldier, and the hero of "Lucky Charm" is another soldier. Soldiers are strong and handsome, and the heroine must be petite, so that they can be petite. Even if the heroine is not necessarily very gentle, she must be a beautiful woman, so that they may develop good feelings for each other after meeting. Handsome men and beautiful women naturally attract each other. The male and female protagonists will meet by chance, entangle each other, create sparks, and fall in love. Then there is a little sadness, twists and turns, forced separation, and a little bit of sadness for the viewer... I didn't say this model is bad, but every time I see the male protagonist going to the army again, I feel that he is very tired. Before I bought "Lucky Talisman" to watch it, I deliberately didn't read the introduction, I just meditated in my heart: This time, let's come to a realistic and common male protagonist... Then when I opened it, it was a soldier again! Well, it doesn't matter if the soldiers are. The love in it should still be the kind that can touch me. At least "The Notebook" will make you cry, and "Breakup Letter" is at least a little touched. But in fact, I watched it half way to do something else and forgot about it! Looking at this adapted movie now, ZAC has become an uncle in vicissitudes, but how tender he is; the heroine is not as stunning as the previous Nicholas Sparks-style movies. The story probably follows the novel, so it's just so dull...==(Maybe it's because I've read a lot of his books and adapted movies, everything is so familiar, even if the storyline is really different, alas) This type of adapted movie is the most important Still have a good script, an adapted script, and the most important thing is to have a good original. From this point of view, it is probably because Mr. Sparks's works are a bit dull, and I hope Uncle Chun Ai will produce better works in the future. After all, there are still a lot of directors who want to remake his works! Of course, as a Nicholas Sparks fan, I also hope to relax with one or two of his adaptations in my spare time.

Why would I watch such a lukewarm, generic love story movie? Taylor Schilling. Why do I love Taylor Schilling? Atlas Shrugged.

    Logan: I couldn't tell you. I walked.

Beth: You walked? You walked here from Colorado?

    Logan: I like to walk.
