I fell in love with DEPP unknowingly, so for him, it was old enough to see such a bloody HORROR story, a serial killer, specializing in killing prostitutes. The director's shot is full of restraint, which is both terrifying and terrifying. It did not become ordinary flesh and blood vulgarity. The color and atmosphere are controlled just right.
The background of the story truly reflects the lower class of VICTORIA. Several murdered prostitutes are small people living in the lower class, dirty, ugly and stupid, such a grassroots crowd. Our beautiful heroine has a beautiful and good temperament at first glance, and it is absolutely impossible to be done away. DEPP is still a big smoker, with a dreamy expression all day long, and of course he is very dedicated at work.
Waiting patiently to see the end, pointing the finger at the Queen of England, it really is the style of such a movie. And even if DEPP's detectives have "middle-class cleverness" (his boss said), they are just watching how the murderer starts. But at the end, he discovered that the fifth and last victim's hair was brown, not the red of his beloved woman, and he kept it secret. For her safety, I don't go to her, and I confide in my colleagues' advice. I can see them... I feel a little moved, but also a little wronged. DEPP's films have never had a conventional happy ending. Maybe It's his own choice. DEPP's detective finally saw the woman he loved and her adopted child in a house on a hillside by the sea, surrounded by green grass, in the fog of smoke. So he didn't close his eyes, but he had already prepared gold coins for the ferryman from the underworld. The colleague closed his eyes for him, and this too hasty love vanished. Seeing this, I was really incited for a little bit. Because of this little cliché, it was worth an hour and a half of torment :)
