Movie Review: The Fantastic Pirates

I'm not very fond of clay animation. Although Aardman is still insisting, the biggest advantage of this type of animation - texture, is constantly being eroded by computer 3D animation. I'm actually not optimistic about the future development. ("Mary and Max" is a masterpiece, except) The structure of this film is still a very traditional inspirational film mode, but the spirit of the British people making fun of historical figures is still worth encouraging, and the last Easter egg has some bright spots~
