A little analysis of Sleeping Beauty's art style

This isn't a traditional bedtime fairy tale, it's Australian director Julia Leigh's June 2011 debut film. It tells the story of a thin and small female college student who was forced to make a living and found a job as a prostitute that did not require sex. Before each start, she would drink a decoction that erases her memory. In this way, she is ignorant and harmless. passed through. In the end, when she knew the truth, she fought and roared for herself like an animal that had been suppressed for a long time.
Because the director is a newcomer, all the immature film language makes some viewers unable to understand the multi-layered obscure themes. As a result, I can't enjoy the pleasure of watching movies (including me).
In general, the most valuable part of this film is not the aesthetic enjoyment of the sex scene. There is no tendency to use light, the tones of classical oil paintings, the symmetrical smooth composition and of course the holy body of the heroine without sensuality.
A kind of stage-like sacred visual experience, with the main camera following the lens without cutting, it is as if the audience is looking at the Sleeping Beauty, there is a kind of artistic conception in the exhibition hall, as if they are outside the world, but they are right. The objects are within reach, and the grief of youth being eaten away and the powerlessness of old age in the painting are very emotional.
Detailed analysis:
The picture has always presented a symmetrical composition at the beginning. When the old man with pigtails walked into the center of the picture, he blocked the heroine from undressing and undressing alone, symbolizing the encroachment on the heroine in the future. When I picked up the heroine, the old man was old, collapsed, and the red body etched by the years formed a sharp and interesting contrast with the heroine's body as white as jade, like a marble statue carved by Rodin. He picked up the heroine like a beast and moved to the left side of the screen, breaking the stability of the previous symmetrical composition. In the story, because the old man's waist was weak, the unconscious heroine fell to the floor, and the old man knelt down. On the ground, he carried the heroine onto the bed with difficulty, but because the heroine was only placed on the edge of the bed, the heroine fell down again, with her hands open, like a Christ who was extremely powerless to resist and was tortured by being tied to a cross.
The film is like a sculpture, the author won't tell you exactly what the work means, maybe the title is just "Untitled".
Such a peculiar movie-watching experience, the deeper you look, the more you can feel the suffocation that the author wants to express, and the more you can experience the encroachment of life by society.
No matter in the face of youth or twilight, time is a bloodless butcher knife~

Beautiful picture, low-cost eyes wide shut, the rushing director is a writer, it is inevitable that there are many confessions with hidden metaphors

"Go over there and choose a lipstick with the same color as your private parts." Then, the girls' mouths in the film became the focus of the picture.

Sleeping Beauty quotes

  • Birdmann: Sandhill Dunnart. Nocturnal and endangered. A marsupial mouse. Thought to be extinct until recently. Its main predators include owls and bats. Little is known about the animal due to its rarity. First they eat insects but will also eat meat on occasion. Sharp, carnivore's teeth. Scared, Sandhill Dunnart will make a loud noise as it moves into an offensive position. What it really is the Sandhill Dunnart is a miniature, a more tenacious kangaroo.

  • Man 1: When a man enters his 30th year people will not stop calling him young
