Can't the director study the history before filming?

After many years, when I recall this film, I only remember two places in my mind.
1. Jamuhe, played by Sun Honglei, hangs his hair with a dagger;
2. At the end, Mongolian Khumai sings rock music.

The casting problem of this film is very serious!
Taking a picture of Temujin with a Japanese face, the characters on the Mongolian steppe, due to climate and geographical reasons, almost all have high cheekbones and thick eyelids. The actor who played Ye Sugai at the beginning of this film is the protagonist of the domestic TV series "Genghis Khan" a few years ago. He is a standard Mongolian face. I don't think it makes any sense other than attracting the Japanese box office. Asano Tadanobu's own acting skills are excellent, but this film does not give him room to play. On the contrary, Jamuka played by Sun Honglei has performed well in the same bland plot, and his character depiction is in line with the historical prototype.

The war scenes are crap!
Simply put, why did the Mongol Empire expand its territory? It relies on the endurance and speed of Mongolian horses and the short bow riding and shooting that the Mongolians have trained since childhood. In the fast movement, the overwhelming rain of arrows hit the enemy hard. This opening scene fight is utter nonsense! It turned out to be an ambush battle in the rocky hills, ridiculous! The second battle is even more crap! Jamuka was chasing Temujin, but instead of being surrounded by cavalry, he dismounted and charged? The last battle was shot in style, but the historical prototype was the Battle of the 13 Wings. In that battle, the assault troops were led by Temujin's mother, and the result of the battle was Temujin's defeat. Jamuka used an iron pot to cook a large number of Mongolian tribal nobles who participated in Temujin Fang, which caused many allies to resent Jamuka's brutality and gradually alienated Zakintie.

Too many characters have been deleted!
When Temujin established the Mongolian tribal alliance, he could not do without his adoptive father Wang Khan, his adopted brother Jamuka, and the bravery of the brothers and the four dogs and four sons. However, this film directly cuts across the board and only shows the grievances of Jamuka and Temujin. The overly simplified characters make this film seem too childish to play in such a turbulent era. How can the battle be ended by hitting a few thunders?
