A person who doesn't like English the most wrote the word in the title, just because the film was translated into Wolf Hunter. So funny.

Many times, even those who deeply hurt us are still alive in the world unscathed, and it does not affect our hugs with loved ones in other places far away from the hurt.

This is one of the best movies I've seen recently. The premise of the whole story is that the current society is not a new social news. The 14-year-old girl protagonist was deceived by netizens and was raped when they met. But the director does not focus the film on the incident, but on the various emotional changes in the girl's trust in the people around her after the incident. This film has the same elements of other films I love, deception, relief, recovery, psychotherapy, unpretentious filming, and a full story. I have seen a maverick, stubborn and strong girl from too many Hollywood movies. This time, the ordinary girl is only 14 years old. She has the most common childishness, vulnerability, undefense against strangers, and family's Pampered and cared for, she suffered an unfortunate event, but she will get better in the end.

Most of the time when I watched this film, I was worried about the silly girl Annie, and most of the time the film was about the silly girl's online dating and the silly girl's anger. At the beginning of the film, Annie met Charlie in the chat room. Charlie played some tricks to deceive Annie's trust. Even if she changed her age twice, Annie still trusted him and met him. The first real meeting, Annie saw this strange slut who was at least 20 years older than herself. There was a little panic in her composure, but under Charlie's comfort, they went to the hotel. Annie didn't struggle and didn't realize the danger. More Compromise and curiosity, she really thought they were in love. Annie's first mistrust of people around her was when a friend reported something to the police after she noticed something was wrong. Anne became the object of ridicule throughout the school. The second time his father took the new phone and made Annie promise never to contact Charlie again. After the incident, his father had the same stress reaction as fathers all over the world, and wanted to kill that bastard. But being overly excited can only make Annie feel like a fool in her father's eyes. When his father sat in a frenzied manner and even randomly suspected passers-by, in order to detect the criminal as soon as possible. But Anne was stubborn that he and Charlie were in love, and they ruined everything. Until the fbi told Annie about the other victims.

Finally, one morning, Annie finds her dad sitting in the yard like a loser, surrounded by scattered leaves, and the two of them say the most touching thing about the whole movie. I just realized that the childishness and stupidity of this girl in my eyes are the innate talent and the most precious quality for his father. He loved that - the confidence that Anne was not afraid of anything. In the end, they reconciled, and their contradiction lies in the disappointment of the other party's distrust, not whether the perverted netizen Charlie was really caught. The climax of the whole film is arranged to the end.

Perhaps the film wants to tell us the most ordinary truth, no matter what kind of loss we encounter, those who always trust us and love us will help us find our original self.

Trust quotes

  • Gail Friedman: We can't control what happens to us or our loved ones. What happens when Annie goes to college?

    Will: What are you saying?

Gail Friedman: People get hurt. There's only so much we can do to protect ourselves, our children. The only thing we can do is be there for each other when we do fall down to pick each other up.

  • Will: Even if he was in jail I wouldn't be happy.

    Gail Friedman: Why?

Will: Because it would still want to rip his fucking head off.
