After watching the whole movie, this sentence automatically popped into my mind when the ending song came on stage.
Even though I had known in advance that it would be such an ending, when I saw it with my own eyes, I was still very satisfied and disappointed, and a few tears fell from my eyes.
Is it because of age? Or the similarity of the footage?
The films I watched recently would make me feel smug and can't help myself, and I can't bear this uncontrollable hypocrisy!
For this movie, the original intention of watching it was because there was such a conflict in the introduction: a psychotherapist's 23-year-old son fell in love with her 37-year-old female patient, on the one hand, she was going to be a therapist. Professionally listening and empathizing with her patients, on the other hand she is a mother who treats her son from a worldly and parental perspective.

Meryl Streep's acting skills are naturally superb, through the small movements of the eyes, every little detail, I think she interprets a woman in conflict too accurately. Thus, this conflict leaps before the eyes, which is obvious and delicate.
Her solution is to face it.
Be honest about your own insurmountable. This actually requires courage.
However, this film is called "Ripple from the Heart". If the focus is only on the conflict of such a psychologist, it obviously deviates from its center.
Another conflict is the relationship between the sexes, and it is a 23-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
The psychotherapist told his supervisor that because he affected the two of them, because of himself, they started hurting each other.
