1. The public riots are not real enough, and they fail to express the shocking feeling of ancient famine, violence, and misery.
2. When the two sides fought, the scene was too small, and there was no planning and organization. It was not like the well-equipped and powerful army of ancient Rome, but more like the blind fight of the modern underworld, which may be the reason for the limitation of filming funds.
3. At the end, the scene where Matthews was moved and persuaded by his mother was not shocking enough. It may be that the lines were incomplete or the translation was incomplete and failed to express the essence of Shakespeare, and the protagonist's performance at that time seemed more like the anger in his heart could not be extinguished. But he was suddenly moved to agree to peace, and the ending of the protagonist being killed was not tragic enough but depressing.
The whole story is dressed in a modern coat and speaks an ancient language. Many things are very awkward to match. It makes people laugh and cry. If you have nothing to do, you can watch it as an entertainment film, and you can also feel some of Shakespeare's beautiful lines.
