disaster for disaster

I just watched this film in the film appreciation class today, and I don't know what the teacher recommended it for.
Without the soul-stirring and beautiful love of the Titanic, the whole film seems very mechanical and depressing, just like a game clearance game, and the occasional interspersed love and family relationships also seem to be insufficient. This is for disasters to create all kinds of disasters. film.
PS: The wife of this film is so depressing Nima, she is all trapped in water, I hate water!

Maggie James: oh, does that work much?

    Dylan Johns: What?

Maggie James: The tentative mention of a husband I'm supposed to correct, even though you clocked my wedding finger twice already.
