This film certainly does not meet the standard of action blockbusters in the minds of Chinese audiences. There are too few actions, that is, the two-person Street Fighter match is barely standard in Jackie Chan movies, and the speeding scenes and blasting scenes are not worth mentioning. But don't forget, the film is adapted from real historical events. The political mystery and oil interests behind the film are definitely worth digging into. In addition, some of the human nature and heroic sympathy shown in the film are accustomed to seeing To Qifeng's gunfight type. The filmmakers should be able to smile.
In general, the visuals are not enjoyable. The color has been adjusted to the dark yellow of the past. At first, I thought that the projection bulbs were aging; . Aside from this aspect, the director and screenwriter described the forces of all parties in a coherent manner, the conflict was precise, and the sportsmen, machos, and actors are all remarkable, and 4 stars should be deserved.
