The protagonist in this movie is a famous psychotherapist with his own bestseller, but his wife dies by suicide. He used drugs and alcohol, confided and socialized with young people who sold marijuana. His father handed him a teenage patient, an adolescent girl, who suffered from her mother's suicide, self-harm and a series of behavioral problems at school. Behind the glamorous and beautiful portrayed in the film is a corrupt private life, drugs, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. . .
In Western religions, suicide has always been considered a sin. But I've never seen a movie that discusses this issue in depth. But at least this movie allowed me to see the harm that suicide brings to the people around me. The movie did not solve my confusion: why do people commit suicide. But at least tell us to let go of the past, the past has passed, and living is the greatest meaning. . .
