"Ocean" is a documentary. It is the work of the famous French documentary master - Jacques Behan, which took a lot of manpower and material resources and lasted four and a half years. It was first released in France in 2009, but it was not introduced to China until 2011.
"What is the ocean?" "Ocean" begins with a child's question. The first half shows the mystery, beauty, vastness and depth of the ocean. The ocean in the first half is as beautiful as another world, except that it is not filled with air, but light blue sea water. With human intervention in the second half, the ocean becomes cloudy, panicked, and full of fear. Humans conquered the ocean, began to dye it red, black, green, extinction of species, melting of glaciers... Finally, it revealed the relationship between man and nature, and called on all human beings to take action to protect our homeland. The theme of the whole film is clear and thought-provoking, and I have to admire the superb skills of director Yahan Baker!
As thought-provoking as it is, I'm sure there will be people who are indifferent.
The reason is very simple, because these things can't "move" this part of people.
The blue whale leaps out of the water as majestic as the sunrise; the collective migration of dolphins is like galloping horses; the dancing of the school of fish is like the Lingluo fluttering in the air. These don't impress them. Homeless penguins; smoky factories; heavily polluted "sea blood". This doesn't impress them either.
And the shark, after being cut off from its fins and tail, threw back into the sea, sank vertically to the bottom of the sea, struggled in pain until it died, blood gushing out of its gills, dyeing the sea bright red... .
However, they are not indifferent. In the face of money, interests, and status, they come uninvited. And they laughed and walked away, leaving almost untouched food on the table. As for whether the ocean is blue or something else, it has nothing to do with them. Thinking of their comings and goings, I have nothing to say.
Some people sighed after watching this movie: "Maybe human beings should not appear in this world." This is actually what I want to say. For a long time, people have always thought that they are the benefactors of this world, that they are God, As everyone knows, it is actually a demon that even himself refuses to let go.
I have always wanted to see the blue sea, the ocean should be its original color. I yearn for the blue of the sea, and feel that the blue of the sea is even purer than the blue of the sky, because the sea has its own world and its own baby.
Finally, I would like to pay the highest tribute to the workers who filmed "Ocean" and those who have contributed to the protection of the earth and the maintenance of ecological balance!
