I like America in that era, Hollywood in that era

I chose to watch "My Week With Marilyn" that weekend without much thought, and actually admired Michelle Williams, even though she wasn't pretty.

Eddie Redmayne is too thin, but this time he is considered competent. He plays the rich family (the son of a historian) who has a vision for Hollywood and is not afraid of hard work.

I don't know much about Marilyn Monroe, and some say her death is a bit intertwined with John F. Kennedy.

What would a week with Monroe be like? The film is based on the novel of the same name by Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne).

Although Michelle Williams only has three or four points like Monroe, her hard work and acting talent are really admirable, especially her voice imitation is the best.

I don't know that Monroe is so neurotic and very dependent on people, but when her emotions come, she is full of sharpness and no one can resist.

I like the United States of that era and the Hollywood of that era, there is always a seductive charm.

There is also Emma Watson cameo as a female character with a small role.

My Week with Marilyn quotes

  • Sir Owen Morshead: The Queen is sorry to have missed you.

    Marilyn Monroe: Really?

Sir Owen Morshead: Oh, yes. Why, she was only saying to me the other day, "what must it be like to be the most famous woman on earth"?

  • Spectator: [Marilyn strikes a pose] Are you somebody, mate?

Colin Clark: No. I'm no one.
