I did think of the covered bridge for the first time.

Of course, it's not that many film critics compare the two films. In the
novel , Tom Booker died, and I thought at the time that if he didn't die, wouldn't Annie be able to go back? In fact, in the film, the male protagonist survived and stood on the top of the mountain to watch the female protagonist go away. Maybe it was because of the self-directed and self-acted role, so he left a little more space for himself, but I personally feel that the emotional sublimation in the second half of the film is a bit radical. As Ma Yu The author's own description has become a foil.
In short , this story tells a story that shouldn't have happened. Hehe everything is
BTW: 10 years ago, Scarlett was already a bit mature.

7.8. The photography of the film is really beautiful. The vastness of the western grasslands and the vitality of nature are vividly reflected under the lens. But aside from photography, the core and story of the film are weak, lacking in thought and emotion to support. What the director wanted to express, the transformation of the girl and the horse, which was not filmed, became the derailment of the mother. More regrettable.

Many scenes about touch are really tough. I'm used to the meatball version of Scarlett watching thirteen-year-old dramas every minute.

The Horse Whisperer quotes

  • Annie: Don't they believe in signs around here?

Grace: What would they say? Ten miles to big rock. Twenty miles to bigger rock.

  • Annie: I had a hard time finding the place. There are no signs.

Tom Booker: Oh, there are plenty of signs. Just not many of them printed.
