When watching a movie, I focus on the two points of visual shock and spiritual comfort. The plot of the movie feels ordinary, but the picture is very gorgeous! The scene of the two children fishing before the war elegantly seems like time has stagnated for them. Of course, the next scene will definitely switch to the war that even makes you feel that the movie screen is torn apart. I didn't watch war movies very much before, because I couldn't stand the selfishness of human nature, and I hated politics very much, which brought war, the demise of civilization, and the annihilation of human nature. Although the history of the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party also appeared in my mind during this movie viewing, it made me feel very depressed. But from an artistic point of view, I still recommend this movie. The whole picture is gorgeous and shocking. The composition and color of the picture are the best I have seen this year.

Very realistic and recreates brutal war scenes. Before the war, the picture was bright, and after the war, the picture was dark. The emotions of the people in the film are all expressed. The little boy in the film is the main line that connects the various appreciations in the film.
