The script is well-photographed, with all dialogues, and tension all the way to the end. The family of four is civilized and restrained on the outside, but turbulent on the inside. Alan is a hardass. He can't afford to suffer any loss in words, and he is full of arrogance and superiority in his bones. To the hostess Penelope, she looks intellectual and sexy, but she is actually a hardass, with a sense of moral superiority, always trying to bully each other on a moral level. The product of hardass is that all spouses are timid, moderate and hypocritical. They finally broke out under all kinds of humiliation, throwing mobile phones away, and getting drunk. However, everything can't stand the two babies who are still in good relationship and a mouse that is intact. It's ridiculous! Sigh! This film finally makes good use of the three gold medal winners. I think the best actors are Waltz, Foster, Reilly, and Winslate.
