The film won Best Cinematography at the 1979 Oscars. I don't know anything about photography, but I can still see the beauty of the scenery in the film. The train running on the vast plain, the classical-style villa in the golden wheat field, the harvest people in the wheat field under the sunset, and the people revelling by the bonfire at night, these scenes constitute groups of vivid and beautiful pictures. As far as the picture is concerned, the film "Days of Heaven" can be said to have been a success.
Some people say that this is a boring film, and I can't help but ask, why did you say this? Such a beautiful shot and such a cheerful music can still be called a dull film? It can only be said that some people's appreciation level is only limited to the Hollywood blockbuster of slapstick and kiss me.
