Come on Joey. Come on boy.

The most correct decision I made tonight was to decisively turn off my mobile phone, stay away from the hustle and bustle, and quietly walk through the slightly desolate and wet road after the rain, just to go to a date that no one is waiting for. Watching a movie quietly and completely in a movie theater whose population density is not comparable to Valentine's Christmas is such an experience that I haven't experienced in a long time.

All thanks to the warhorse, thanks to the handsome and low-key Joey.

Ashamed to say, I have always thought of myself as a very tasteless and frustrating person. Pseudo fans, fake movie fans, fake Amoy disc control, fake writers, fake painters, fake debaters... All kinds of messy interests can be modified with the same word before, which is enough to show that this person's attitude towards life can be How casual and rough. In terms of movies, I have used various reasons such as saving money or being troublesome to persuade myself to let go of the real worldliness and laziness deep in my heart, until I almost forgot what it was like to stop and shut up and not speak. .

When I was working part-time in a movie theater, I watched dozens of promotional films almost every day, and then I found that people around me also watched this film one after another. Perhaps, given the fame of Steven Spielberg, this movie is destined to be worth watching. I don't deny the ability of a professional director, I just ignore how amazing the power of unconscious repetition is, so that I, a child who is actually slow and cold at heart, can have a kind of unforgettable emotion about a movie. I'm not a professional movie watcher, and the movie reviews I write are more likely to be a pile of shit. But I just wanted to say something. The words that were piled up in my chest and wished to rush out of my throat along the esophagus seemed to be broken as always, but they did have a faintly shocking power.

The story begins when the protagonist witnesses the birth of a pony, Joey, until the protagonist returns to his hometown with Joey, who also grew up. When the whole movie ends successfully, he suddenly feels that the name is really good. War Horse, two words perfectly sum up the theme of the whole movie, and even mark the primary and secondary order without any trace. Not only the war theme, but also not only the animal planet, a clear and unique entry in a grand background, this is what I think the film has done the most successfully.

Many people will be impressed by the ploughing scene in the rain, and it was there that my teardrop was nearly stabbed for the first time. One should do at least one bloody and brave thing in one's life, but the various violent storms that may be faced after the showy bloody bravery will actually be a bloody and brave thing that is more difficult to persevere. It might be easy to buy a horse that can't work for 30 guineas with booze, but it's hard to keep yourself from killing it when you're about to lose everything. The whole world is yelling at you that you can't, and ridicule and sarcasm will turn into the sharpest knife in the world, repeatedly cutting your vulnerable heart, if you have encountered something similar in your short or long life In embarrassment, you will experience this tragic mood of dying and living again. I only remember the moment when I saw the coulter cut deeply into the ground, and I couldn't help but recite one sentence in my heart with Elliott: Come on Joey. Come on boy.

Too much into the plot or sensitively into the role In the eyes of some people, it is actually a slightly hypocritical and bifurcated thing, but when you are in a relatively independent black space, the black perfectly protects you for a short two hours, and the only light source is In front of you, grabs all your attention. Forget about those damn meetings, and put aside the ringing phone and texting message, surrounded by people you don't even know, or just rows of lifeless seats. They just share the same story with you that you haven't heard in full, and no one will notice your presence. Wandering on the edge of isolation, don't care about other people's eyes, or laugh happily, or cry freely. This is the best feature of watching movies in theaters. The computer screen can't give these, just like the dormitory can't give the atmosphere of the study room library, the same reason. Sometimes, it's time to push yourself decisively.

Whistle is a detail I really like. In other words, this is a very clever foreshadowing for the development of the key plot in the later part of the film. I imagined thousands of scenarios where the protagonist and Joey would reunite, and none of them matched the final effect of the film. Even when Elliott was temporarily blinded by poison gas, I was worried that he would miss out with Joey for life, and in the end the director really gave me a good answer. The focal point of the camera seems to be an invisible arm, slowly pushing away layers of onlookers, and finally opening a passage for one person and one horse. And the whistle was the link between the two points, bringing Joey back to the master again, just as they had reached consensus for the first time on the green hillside.

The supporting roles in the film also have many impressive images. The grandfather and granddaughter who lost everything in the war, the brothers who were shot for fleeing in the British army, and the roaring "Go to hell!" roared by the kind soldier in the German army who was in charge of training horses, all perfectly expressed anger and indictment of the war. My favorite part of the entire film is the scene where the two soldiers work together to save Joey, reminding me of the musicians playing together and the kids singing together before entering the gas chambers in WWII. In the short-lived peace and tranquility after the intense artillery fire, the two sides could even play innocuous jokes with each other, say a few household words, tell each other their names, and wish each other good luck not to eat the gun they shot. If this were not a battlefield, maybe they would have become very good friends. Whether it was the laugh of all the British soldiers at Joey's clumsy way of greeting, or the joy created by the German army throwing a bunch of tools from the trenches at the same time, I suddenly understood what it means to laugh. Tears of humor.

So don't be like me anymore, the whole computer is full of movies but you can't click to watch them. If you have the chance, go to the cinema. Wouldn't it be very boring if a person didn't do a few things in his life that would make him laugh out loud when sitting in a rocking chair when he was old?
