Fellini 's film and the actor Fan Daming of "The
Swinger": Fellini Film Month starts today. Among the classic works of the world's film masters, Fellini and his works must be inescapable and unavoidable. He has won the Academy Award for 5 times. The four films screened this month are from 1953 to 1973, just within 20 years, about half a century from now. Today's film describes the living conditions of some young people in a small town in Italy after the war. Although it is a black and white film, it is still very interesting. The male protagonist Faust (Fasto) is still eager to seek differences after being forced to marry, which allows us to see the characteristics of a person. This film has been translated as "The Tramp", but as far as the male protagonist is concerned, it is more accurate to call it "The Swinger".
He Ji: The essence of this male protagonist is good, but it takes a little bit of money. One of the characteristics of this kind of man is that the young and the old take it all.
Fan Daming: His philandering is a bit out of line. That antique shop proprietress is the wife of his father-in-law's good friend, and he also seduces her.
Ding Yunzhen: It should be said that he is like this by nature, not what is good in nature.

Carnival: Folklore as a manifestation of real life
Li Haiyan: This film also won an award (Silver Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival, etc. - organizer's note). Seeing their carnival joy in the film, I was very touched. At present, our society should also pay attention to people's livelihood and cultural construction. The country of Italy has its cultural heritage in it, and its people have an attitude of not giving up on life. Even if life is not very rich, even if they are starving and freezing, they will hold carnivals. Our country may only maintain better folk customs in some rural areas. On the sixth day of the first year of this year, there seem to be gatherings such as temple fairs and fairs in Anji, Zhejiang.
He Ji: At present, some carnivals in our country even organize some people to watch them. In fact, they are all fake. It is Chen Xingsheng who has no historical and traditional foundation
: Some things still cannot be generalized.
Li Haiyan: This film reflects the current situation at that time, that is, the situation in 1953. Some of our films now reflect things that are not considered realistic.

Characteristics of Italians: Love of family and admiration for Western European American culture
Niuyuzhu: This is the second Fellini movie I have seen, and I have seen "The Road" before. This is what I think about this film: Italians have a characteristic, their family values are still very strong. For example, Faust and Sandra in the film also lived with their parents and extended family after they got married. Italy was a defeated country in "World War II". The film reflects the social thought at that time through 5 young people: one is a lover of family, and the other is an admiration for American culture in Western Europe, like Faust and Sandra in the film who returned after their wedding trip. In town, Faust brought back the gramophone in a neat suit, eager to bring the most fashionable things back to town. My favorite person in this film is Morado. Italy is a very funny country. Its predecessor, ancient Rome, was a very powerful country, pushed forward more than 2,000 years, but after the demise of ancient Rome, Italy is now only a second-rate capitalist country. Although Italy has culture, like Florence and Milan, there are excellent works of art, but as reflected in the film, in 1953 after the end of the "World War II", young people at that time were doing nothing and didn't know what to do. Fellini is a more skilled director and better editor than the French director Truffaut, who was screened last month.

Inviting Mi Bodo to go to the beach, why did he turn around and run?
Li Haiyan: Mi Boduo, the amateur playwright in the film, is afraid of the big actor (Natalie) from Milan, why is that? He invited Mi Boduo to go to the beach, but Mi Boduo turned around and ran away. Later, he did not explain it in the film.
Fan Daming: Is he worried that Natalie will harm him, such as pushing him into the sea?
Yu Han: I understand that he was worried that Natalie would have that kind of relationship with him.
Fan Daming: Is it the gay love we are talking about now?
Yu Han: Yes.
Fan Daming: Mi Boduo may not necessarily think so. There is not much explanation in the film here, we can understand it by our own understanding.
Niu Yuzhu: Artists are crazy, and those who love literature and art like Mi Boduo have a bottom line.

Yuan Li , the five characters in the
film: It should be said that the five people in the film have their own ideas, but they are all confined to a place like a small town.
He Wen: Among the five people, I prefer Morado.
Van Damien: It is generally believed that this Morado is the incarnation of Fellini himself. Judging from the film, if you count Faust, there should be six people - Faust went on a wedding trip, and the others wandered to the seaside. At this time, there are five people in the film.
Xiaoyu: My feeling about this movie is that we are a bystander, and we look at these people from a bystander standpoint. I've seen Fellini's "Eight and One and a Half" before, and that film's expression was more stream-of-consciousness, and I didn't quite understand it. Today, this film is like a simple record, showing the life of the small town at that time, making everyone think.
Zhang Siyu: This film reflects the life of people in small Italian towns after World War II, and it is written very concretely.
Ding Yunzhen: Yes, it reflects the growth process of the lost generation after World War II. It can be said that this is also a lovely group.
Fan Daming: Among the young people, in addition to Faust, who is fascinated, the others who have written more fully include Mi Bodo, who wrote the script with glasses, and Alberto, who eloped with his sister. It should be said that Mi Bodo is more thoughtful and ambitious. He not only writes and writes there all day long, but also does not miss the opportunity to curry favor with the famous performers in Rome and Milan in the town; and that Alberto, He was very kind to his mother, and he was a dutiful son. He played all night at the carnival, and his heart was actually very sad. Maybe he also knew that his sister was going to leave. There are also two characters (including Richard who sings) that make little impression.
Yu Han: Everyone in the film who leaves and who stays is also a manifestation of the parties' dissatisfaction with their desire for life.

Like Faust, he expresses his desire for life by chasing women; Mi Bodo uses screenwriting, and Alberto plays with life... There are two types of people in life , Ye Saijun
: the film begins with Fellini's inner realism film features. Gedo's joy at the end is quite touching.
Wu Wei: As Xiaoyu said, the film seems to simply record the life of the small town at that time, restore life, and make the audience think. After the end of the "World War II", Italy's economy seems to be in recession. These young people in the small town have nothing to do, they are very confused, they can't find the direction of their efforts, they don't know the goal of life, and it is not easy to find a job. On the other hand, Gedo, the kid who works at the railway station, has already started working at a young age and lives a simple and happy life. In my opinion, there are two types of people in life: one type of people, like these five swingers, is lost in finding their own life direction, and finally the youngest Morado puts on a suitcase and goes to find life elsewhere; the other type People are like the little kid Gedo, who lives there very literally, simply and happily, happy for himself and others. In order to complete your understanding and pursuit of life, you also need talent as a support, otherwise time is the most cruel and ruthless, and wasting time will eventually achieve nothing. But for Morado, he didn't explain much about showing his talent in the play. Maybe he is more observant and thinking about life.
Fan Daming: Pharaoh, say a few words.
Wang Shujin: I have nothing to say, I will just say two points: one is that I am late and I didn't watch the whole film; the second is that I don't agree with the life and practice of the male protagonist in the film. Compared with myself, I am a very responsible man, and I have been very serious and responsible for life since I was very young.
