Filmmaker's TV Complex

As anyone who's been here knows, I'm not a big fan of talking about the plot or themes of a movie, and sometimes that can sway your feelings so much that you lose sight of the uniqueness of the movie itself as an art form. Therefore, I prefer to observe the director’s technique or the origin of a film. As for the plot and thematic ideas, these are very opinionated and very different because of life experience or class position. I will leave it to myself or you. When you watch the movie, go and get your heart pumping, I still won't discuss it in this place.

The reason I mention this is because if this movie follows my usual generalization: it is another movie in which the event itself is bigger than the movie. I think a lot of its success comes from that.

George Clooney's father was a former American TV news anchor, and George Clooney's directorial debut, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, is about the famous TV host Chuck Barris, who he had in his youth. A brief career as a journalist is arguably why he has been shooting TV stories. Once again, it proves that most directors' debut films are still childhood impressions, time marks, etc... I think there is a lack of bright spots in the technique, and it is very unrealistic to expect an American actor to have brilliant directorial talent. Just being able to tell the story smoothly and flatly. So watching this film is a dull experience. I watched it three times. Of course, this is also due to the Chinese subtitles that are full of mistakes and omissions. I have to say a polite word for this film. I used a deliberately calm tone to express the great era of stormy seas

. So the call for wind and rain can fool you? The United States has Edward Morrow, who is a blessing to the American people, and the old gentleman who was a whistleblower during the SARS period, a blessing to our Chinese people. David Strathairn, who plays Edward Morrow, is one of those handsome guys in L.A. Confidential, with a little oily haircut and a fine JAZZ, what a charming 50s...indie movie, obviously Budgets are limited, so it’s common to see TV acquaintances in independent films, including Ellie Macbeth’s boyfriend and the sodomite in Prison Break.
