Apple has always been

The legend of Silicon Valley, a movie about the history of Apple and Microsoft, let's talk about the plot in the movie (one of the reasons is that I didn't witness this wonderful history myself, and even if the plot of the movie is not completely true, it is not always true. It will come out of nowhere). After watching this movie, on the surface, it seems that Apple and Microsoft are hiding such unbearable things behind their splendid glory, which greatly reduces the images of the two. The whole plot is basically inseparable from the word "stealing", just like the phrase "good artists copy, great artists steal" in the film, which is an incisive summary. They don't care about the means, they only care about one, how to make people experience the computer better (and it is very important who does it well, and to whom the wealth will naturally flow). And after they stole it, they didn't just "copycat" and then changed hands. They made themselves stand on the shoulders of giants, so that they could see farther and go farther. In the film, I personally feel that the concepts of enemies and friends are confused and well explained. There are no permanent enemies and friends, but only permanent interests. At the end of the film, the Apple crisis, Jobs returned to Apple, and Microsoft held some of Apple's stock. Of course, this is a movie from 1997. Next, the legend of the two companies continues to be staged, and things that change the world are still happening...
On October 5, 2011, US time, Jobs passed away. Jobs himself said, Death is nature's most perfect design because it guarantees natural metabolism. But that doesn't convince the world not to lament his departure. He has shown to the world the pursuit of excellence, he has led the trend of the world, he has allowed people to better experience the convenience brought by high technology, and he has once again made people believe in the concept of simplicity... There will be reviews. I think in the way that Steve Jobs described in the movie, it is really a very small thing in Steve Jobs's life. Even if it is magnified, it cannot hide the fact that he has changed the world. Apple has always been there.

Pirates of Silicon Valley quotes

  • Bill Gates: Success is a menace. It fools smart people into thinking they can't lose.

  • John Sculley: Steve, I'm worried. About what's happening. All the "them versus us" stuff. Macintosh versus Apple II.

Steve Jobs: You don't understand, John. People need a cause.
