I saw this movie because of July Delpy, in fact.
I like her views of many things around us, just like love, policy, sex, man and woman, and the future or the cute cat and so on. At least, I love her ways of thinking and treat the world.
I don't know if she is a good actor, but I am sure she is a good director, as she just act herself.
She is not the most beautiful woman, but just the one who is deserving being loved I bet.
Every time I saw her movie ,she let me thinking about something, using a comfortable way.
She use a comfortable way to let us thinking our lives and living, the same time,we try to comprehension others and have generally been loved with the aspects we don't like in the world and things occurs to us.
For example the world peace, the environment, (in),the love between man and woman and even the two people in the same sex.Sometimes we even began to love the cuture we thought would never be agreed with by ourseves. But she did.She makes us accept the different between different cultures different sexes different men and different views by telling us a wonderful story which happened on the most attracting sighting in the world-Paris.
I fall in love with Paris, with french girl, the most important, with the man who both fall in love with such a french girl like her.
How lovely the man he is ,right?

Archives 2013.7.5.7pm Although the heroine (narrator) is French, the film is cut from the perspective of an American (enhanced and self-joking), so everything in Paris looks crazy (female). The main family, and the ex-boyfriend who keeps encountering, etc.), and the reconciliation of the seemingly conflicting beauty-French-sex/love concept is just the inevitable of today's globalization, history must be accepted, and it is very easy to laugh and make trouble together. good.

Overall, it still looks like the style of "before sunset", but there are more quarrels and less romance.

Two Days in Paris quotes

  • Marion: Taking pictures all the time turns you into an observer. It automatically takes you out of the moment... For our trip to Venice I wanted to be in the moment, with Jack. But, instead of kissing on the gondola, Jack took 48 pictures on the gondola... Instead of holding hands walking across Piazza San Marco, Jack took 72 pictures of Piazza San Marco.

  • Manu: [Talking about Marion, Jack's girlfriend] She told you we used to be together?

    Jack: Yes.

Manu: But it was, like, 1 5 years ago, so it's no big deal at all, really. She was 19. I gave her her first orgasm through intercourse... Oh, no, this is rude. I know when I'm rude, this is rude. I'm sorry about that.

Jack: Oh, no, no, no. Hey, look, you paved the way for the rest of us, right?
