Some people say that romance is only the appearance of France, it is spiritual freedom at all. Most of the short films are about the recovery and reappearance of love. The clown is funny but nothing new, the unrequited love is nothing but a good-looking picture, and the long-shot illusion is an old trick. I have to pick my favorites on the Cohen Travel Guide and the Van Sant Language Barrier, and it feels good to be all in love under the same sky at the end. I still prefer New York I love you

I like clowns, black people, screaming for a reason, and old American tourists. The period when I hate French people coming to China the most is inexplicable.

Paris, je t'aime quotes

  • The Husband: [In voice-over narration] By acting like a man in love, he became a man in love again.

  • Carol: Sitting there, alone in a foreign country, far from my job and everyone I know, a feeling came over me. It was like remembering something I'd never known before or had always been waiting for, but I didn't know what. Maybe it was something I'd forgotten or something I've been missing all my life. All I can say is that I felt, at the same time, joy and sadness. But not too much sadness, because I felt alive. Yes, alive. That was the moment I fell in love with Paris. And I felt Paris fall in love with me.
