From step up 1 to 3, hip-hop has always been regarded as a non-mainstream that deviates from the traditional concept of success. The director has never admitted that hip-hop is a person's pursuit in life, and always arranges for the protagonist to go back to the traditional path at the end of the plot and go to a normal school. But this time the director made a concession and asked Moose to apply to the school for a double major - engineering and dance, telling the audience that sometimes you can have both, and that everything is not the ultimate answer in life.

3 The five major plots of 1 and 2 are used again: (Let's see if step up 4 is still used.)

1 The protagonist is a hip-hop genius
2 The protagonist wants to give up hip-hop due to reality and then returns
3 Looking for a large dance practice place
4 The heroine persuades the hero not to Abandoning the dream
5 Friends who have the same dream have no suspense about the protagonist

's persistence. The difficult decision of being an ordinary person or going to the game is once again placed in front of luck and moose. As the film says: The most important decisions in life are not so easy to make.

In 3, the underworld forces also invaded the hip-hop competition, affecting the results of the competition. A large group of old men gambled and danced off the field. The team in the competition looks like a zombie upper body, which may be influenced by the current zombie movie. Everything once again implies that the director's hip-hop can only be regarded as a non-mainstream concept in society.
