Impressive DVD menu

Great movie even with DVD menu! I've seen many dazzling DVD menus, but this one is the only one that impresses me: a boy is sitting in the harbor waiting for his father to return home. I thought it was static at first, but after a while, I saw that the boy's hair was actually slightly in the wind. Drifting, I don't know why, before I started watching the plot, a gentle touch came straight from my heart...

The works of Scottish female director Shona Auerbach have won second-tier awards over and over again. The plot can be highly summarized as: English version of beautiful mother. And it was filmed behind the beautiful mother, but the evaluations were very different, although they were all guests of the second-tier film festival :)

The reason is that they won the words "sorrow but not hurt".

I talked about this topic when I was chatting with my friends before. Chinese directors can't relax mentally. The same old story of a single mother with a deaf child moved to a remote small port in Scotland, and there was humor, warmth and hope. I was afraid that Shona Auerbach decided to make this movie just because she saw a beautiful mother. of.

Mum's cast is star Emily Mortimer, who has performed in Notting Hill and In the Water. One of the good actors made in the UK with restrained acting, which is why I admire her so much.

English Harbour in winter, warm memory, poetry of growth~~~

Dear Frankie quotes

  • Lizzie: We had an arrangement. You broke it.

The Stranger: One more day that's all.

Lizzie: No, no, no. I want you to go now. It's over, do you hear me, it's over.

The Stranger: My ship sails on Monday. There is only one more day.

Lizzie: Who the hell do you think you are? Who gave you the right to come in here and behave like this?

    The Stranger: You did.

  • Lizzie: Right, if he's not back in five minutes, I'm going to the docks myself.

Nell: How do you even know that's where he is?

Lizzie: Where would you go if it was you?

The Stranger: He won't go on that ship.

Nell: How do you know what he would do? You've not even met him.

The Stranger: He doesn't want to spoil the surprise. If I was a betting man...

    [Nell glares at the Stranger]

The Stranger: ...which I'm not, I'd put money on it.
