just a musical

The story of the film is actually a story about a once brilliant film director who indulges in sensuality and cannot extricate himself.
Of course, the focus of the movie is not the plot, but the song and dance. In this sense, it is indeed a very successful movie, at least for me, a non-musical movie fan, its sets are gorgeous enough, and its songs are powerful enough for my ears and eyes to fully enjoy .
Speaking of the topic of stars, as a star-studded movie, director Rob Marshall gave every star a chance to give full play to his acting skills and charm. (And even Judi Dench and Nicole Kidman, who don't have much playing time).
You know, this is really not easy (please refer to the classic negative textbook "Inception").

Adapted from an eight-and-a-half part, I like to use black and white and color interspersed technique. Fergie's sand dance is very good. It turns out that Penelope can be so sexy. Nicole is a goddess.

I think it's okay, even though everyone is bad

Nine quotes

  • Guido Contini: [singing] Nothing holds together, nothing makes a bit of sense now. Impossible to grasp or understand. How can I go on to watch the whole of my existence end up being nothing that I planned?

  • Guido Contini: [singing] I would like the universe to get down On it's knees And say, "Guido, whatever you please, It's okay. Even if it's impossible, we'll Arrange it." That's all that I want.
