Mr. Beaver is actually a good example, because what happened to him was not so bad. A beautiful wife, lovely children, a house, a car... He has it all. The film does not introduce how much he was once. His success, and what makes him so pessimistic, so in terms of character design, it's really hard to resonate with the protagonist's emotions, but Lao Mei's expression of loss is incisive and vivid, so I'm watching A large part of the film is really disdainful of the cowardice of the protagonist.
Hiding behind the hand puppet is really not a good way to heal. Although he chose a cruel way to get rid of the beaver, he has no sympathy for him. Fortunately, the end of the film is a relatively happy ending. As the Chinese often say, "the misfortune depends on the blessing, and the blessing lies on the misfortune." No matter how much misfortune we encounter in our life, we should all see the other side of things. Things are too persistent, look at it, at least we have a lot of reasons to make ourselves happy.
