Look up at the soles of the gods

It's normal for this movie to have bad reviews...because there are so many things to criticize from the point of view of a movie.
But film is only a form of expression, and technical things cannot constitute the whole of film as an art. What is art? Art and philosophy are interlinked, both are exploring and approaching the most mysterious and greatest secrets of life.
Maybe everyone will look up to different degrees. Although the angle of the head is high or low, they are always looking up at the soles of the gods. Makoto Shinkai wants to express something on the divine level, which is beyond his vision, and also beyond the ability of each of us. Indescribable, indescribable. It is because he is exploring the mysterious secret of life. As for that secret, the roots of religion, philosophy, art all discuss it. But no one told us the answer. That answer - as the Buddha said - cannot be said.
I can't rate this film just as I can't rate words like soul, life and death, gods, loneliness, meaning, and the reason I give it a 5 is just that I can't bear to see this film getting such a low score. I believe that for anyone with a soft heart, for anyone struggling with life, this movie will definitely hit you at a certain point.

It is a curse and a blessing for mankind to continue to live with loss.
The night sky without stars is the scariest. It made me realize how lonely it is to be human.
The only person who is alive is the most important
person. Being born is already a very meaningful thing.
What does blessing mean?
Bless you
