This Is What We Called History.

The whole thing looks and feels a lot like Dream Girls.
In an era full of racism.
The record company started from scratch.
Counter the white man with the peculiar black music.
The historical background is roughly the same.
But this record label is all about celebrities.
Like Etta James.
Some people say that this film has no ups and downs.
It is because it has no ups and downs that history is cruel.
No matter how good Chess was, he didn't even drive around the corner.
Accompanied by Bules melodious.
This is how the story begins.
Then it ends sadly.
As if you were never involved at all.
But then he was disappointed.
Without Chess records we wouldn't have everything we hear today!
No Beyonce no Christina Aguilera and so on.
This is the originator they imitated!
Without further ado.
Still immersed in Beyonce's cover of Etta James' singing.
Every superstar needs Bole.
But there are too few Maxima and Bole.
How sad.
In memory of Mr.Chess.

The plot is bland, but the music is good and the singing is so charming! I don't know much about the history of the blues and black music, but I just thought it was nice, and the black singers in it were super charismatic when they sang. I saw Brother Crossbow making soy sauce in it... I remember that he and Adrian collaborated on a movie very early, but the resources are already hard to find. And under Adrian's skilled acting and personal charm, even the "donkey face" is so charming.

I've always thought that jazz music is very good. Finally, I've been popularized by popular science. The songs in it are really good. The original soundtrack must be super awesome!

Cadillac Records quotes

  • Muddy Waters: You and me not gonna wake up every morning and get everything we want. Mostly we got to take what come. And half the time, that's gonna be a bunch of bullshit.

  • Willie Dixon: [as a narrator] When you lose that cat that gave you the sound that nobody else could, it hurts. Hurts more than losing your woman.
