The two male protagonists in Blake's bookstore: bernard and manny, are a bit like China's unhappy and mindless. As the owner of the bookstore, Bernard is an old alcoholic and an old smoker. And the clerk Manny seems to be an Italian mafia, but he is a very good old man, but he is neurotic all day long and is happy to be bernard Bully. Black Bookstore basically has no main story line. Every day starts with a nervousness and ends with a hangover. The whole play seems very nonsensical, but the laughs are very connotative and quintessential, making people addicted to it. Although Black's Bookstore has only 3 seasons and 18 episodes, its real essence is only season 1, and all of them can be called classics. But until the last episode, the overall lack of strength of the show led to its hasty end.
