There are not too many movies devoted to jury themes. Hollywood can do a lot more work, such a theme is a good way to export politics. Under a system of rule of law, citizens must respond to court signs and assume jury duty like military service, which can indeed improve fairness and transparency. Although, perhaps as it is said in the movie, ordinary people, or their lives have only been left with sad reminders of P people, it is inevitable that there will be loopholes to be manipulated. But under the same high-sounding system of "the people are the masters of the country", in my more than 30 years of life, I have unfortunately never voted, and I even gave up the right to choose the owners' committee. Such depression and helplessness should not end there. I am alone. Comparing the two, the substance and slogan seem to be the same, but the result is self-evident.

John Cusack is actually a very good actor when he's not in comedy. He has received too many bad comedy films in recent years, and the manager deserves a good review. And in this movie, Gene Hackman is even better than the famous Dustin Hoffman. When he appeared in the taxi, he relied on extraordinary observation to give the driver boss valuable professional advice. And his team used all the resources to analyze each candidate, which is exciting and shocking, and the background music and angles like a spy movie are even more impressive. The process of selecting jurors made people’s heart beat faster. The lawyers on both sides questioned the key candidates who decided the outcome as if they were interrogating witnesses. They exercised their veto power at the risk of greater uncertainty. I always believe that people are complex animals. Faced with different witness statements and evidence, everyone has different changes. Even with preparation and premise, it is not easy to get all the members. The jury's There is more or less luck in choosing.

The judge scolded John Cusack and wanted to strengthen his civic education. It seems that the old American not only has the right to enjoy social welfare, but also has legal obligations. There is no real fairness in this world, no matter how well-functioning the law is. The victory of the common people is not easy, but it is always fair and free. A country where the legal system is used to the extreme is also a country that allows guns. As a good citizen of the Celestial Dynasty, I think this is very contradictory. If I had a chance to live on the other side of the ocean, would I put a revolver in my bag?

There are many writings about the American judicial system. Although John Cuek is the mastermind behind the scenes in the plot, Kim Hackman's performance is the most exquisite and outstanding.

The plot has a lot of loopholes, otherwise I would give five stars, overall, a good film!

Runaway Jury quotes

  • Nicholas Easter: I'm Nick Easter, sir. Juror number nine

Judge Harkin: And just what do you think you're doing outside of that Juror Room, Mr Easter-Juror-Number-Nine?

  • Nicholas Easter: So, what? I'm supposed to convince you that I have them, right?

Rankin Fitch: Oh, I think you've probably got them, or-or you will have. I just wanna' know why.

    Nicholas Easter: Money.

Rankin Fitch: Safer ways for a sharp kid like you to make money. What's the real reason?

Nicholas Easter: Business, politics, sports... you tell me what *isn't* rigged? I mean, is there even such a thing as an objective jury, Mr. Fitch?

Rankin Fitch: [chuckles] Not if I can help it.

Nicholas Easter: Then why should all the lawyers and guys like you make all the profit?

Rankin Fitch: You don't have much faith in the Law!

    Nicholas Easter: I'm agnostic.

Rankin Fitch: [laughs] I knew there was something I liked about you.
