Harold and Maud.

Almost all warm films tell me a belief that love is salvation. When I listened to the song "Spring in the Cattle Class" in French for which I didn't understand the lyrics at all, I almost believed it. Le Monde Est A Toi. A group of twelve or thirteen year olds came to sing. The voices of the boys were soft and shrill, making it impossible to distinguish between men and women. Because their gender is blurred, they all have clean eyes and childish faces. They say seriously: follow our songs and you will find faith again. I'm almost believing as always, but "as always" is not a good state, it means you're not making any progress.

Harold and Maud taught me the same.

Harold and Maud, a 20-year-old teenager, is suicidal and unable to exchange thoughts with everyone, not even his mother. He is madly trapped in his own little world, unable and unable to extricate himself. Maud is a passionate anarchist, an 80-year-old lady. I like to drive fast, use various foods to make my favorite flavors, and enjoy life with singing and dancing. She is an old lady with a breath of vitality and death at the same time.

Harold and Maud fell in love through communication. The two didn't need such a practical love, they didn't need firewood, rice, oil and salt, they just needed to enjoy such joy, and they never believed that such joy was short-lived. On her 80th birthday, the old lady took medicine to say goodbye to her little lover Harold. Harold panicked and rushed to rescue, but the energetic old lady also walked resolutely. Harold was very sad, and began to follow Maud's example, driving exciting fast cars on winding roads.

Director Ashby's magic touch is at the end of the film. The first scene is Harold driving a speeding car on the road. The next scene is a car falling from a cliff. Another scene is cut, which is a relief. ——The boy was not in the car, he picked up the Yueqin that Maud had given him, turned around and danced happily.

This film seems to tell me the meaning of love itself. Young Harold said: With you, I finally know who I am, how I want to live, and what life means. The old lady Maud said: "Even if I am going to die, please let me control myself, there is no regret, because I will.

Belief in love is about getting out of pure, complete, coherent love and finding your own life. This is what a good love can teach us. Do not believe it, deny it, destroy it, and finally recognize it and fulfill it.
