Everyone seems to have started the pilgrimage with a seemingly superficial purpose, Tom for his son, Jost for weight loss, Emerson unable to write, Sinclair for quitting smoking, several strangers from various diaphragms to Really become friends, although some of the plots are a bit old-fashioned, but on the road of pilgrimage, it makes people feel that it is good to have such feelings during the journey.
The long-distance walk, Tom only wanted to help his dead son to complete the unfinished journey at first, and in the end he didn't know whether he was continuing to walk in order to complete his son's road, or just wanted to give himself a redemption. The magic began to change Tom, the priest on the road, travelers with the same purpose, and kind locals, all of which made the scenery of this film more sacred. In the end, Tom completed the whole process, and his son's ashes were left on the road. He was also redeemed. It makes people want to go and change their outlook on life. But how many people can drop everything and set off immediately, the joke of being alive is too big.
