Footprints (1972) has a better storyline than Footprints (2007), which is slightly dull and the audience occasionally plays. The latter emphasizes the conflict between the two in the design of the lines, and is more tit-for-tat, making the ending of the little man inevitable in the end. The former deliberately weakened the conflict between the two, making the two partners in the game.
The acting skills of the actors in both versions are very good, and both can give 5 stars. However, 1972 made a slight mistake in the choice of young men, because McCain's body and voice were so iconic that he could be identified just by listening to the voice, which directly led to the second round of deceiving the old man could not be established.
Footsteps (1972) is a bit Hitchcockian.
The old version was a little sluggish, not tense, but engaging. The new version is concise, abruptly stopped, and memorable.
