Michelangelo Antonioni has always had a unique interpretation language in literature and audio-visual, which I love. An unreliable thing about marriage, plus the fragile relationship between men and women that the master has always been good at.

The film once again showed the director's stronger inclination towards women, and the two roles of Jeanne Moreau and Monica Vitti formed a highly unified consciousness, self-esteem and freedom. And Marcello Mastroianni's character is constantly being ridiculed by the author again and again.

However, the final ending makes people feel a trace of uncertainty about the final interpretation of the marriage by the master.
