Good Night, and Good Luck.

I talked about some events in the United States when McCarthyism prevailed. Although it was a time of terror, and many people could not protect themselves, there were still people who were telling the truth, who were able to speak the truth, and who were able to fight vigorously.

A long time ago, when I was reading a book about what happened to some intellectuals during the Cultural Revolution, I felt very sorry for them. Maybe they would not be so miserable when they went to Taiwan with Chiang Kai-shek.

Not really his, he didn't create this situation of fear, he merely exploited it, and rather successfully. Cassius was right, the fault dear Brutus is not in our stars, but in ourselves.
