However, there is always a touch of melancholy in my heart, for the end of a certain story, but also for the irresistible beauty.
Our life is like a timeline composed of segments of time. Most of these fragments are intrinsically linked. Such as getting up in the morning, having breakfast, and leaving for work or other routine tasks. Take the weekend off, meet up with friends, or go on a family trip. During the festivals, they go home to visit their parents and gather with relatives whom they have not seen for a long time. This is the life of most people. These events feel safe and comfortable because of the similarities of characters and the simplicity of their motives. Although a little plain, but like air and water, it is indispensable in life.
However, there are always some fragments that jump out of these harmonious notes and play some high-pitched or low-pitched movements. These are the waves of flowing life, such as making new friends, going places you've never been, and doing things you've never dared to do. Moreover, these clips often occur in certain situations and are outdated. Once they return to the origin, they can no longer attract their attention. It just left some vague imprints in my heart, which seemed familiar, but could not be found.
I know someone who loves to travel around, meet different men in different cities, and have great love affairs. Of course, this love has a very short shelf life and is often over by the time she leaves the city. She said she liked the uninvolved life. These cities, these men are not her end, but they are not her starting point, they have nothing to do with her past and future, everything only belongs to the years she stayed in this city. I think she is resisting the mediocrity of continuous life in a seemingly dashing way. However, her repeated departure and constant renewal made her unable to experience the meaningful aftertaste at all.
Those who like to seek freshness and excitement are always changing their hobbies. They fell in love with tennis one day, climbed the mountain the next day; suddenly they fell in love with brandy, and a few days later they started to try vodka; they kept changing cars, phones, computers, girlfriends, boyfriends, jobs, clothes Style... seems to want to live all kinds of lives in the world in a limited number of years.
Of course, this will never be possible. And the sequelae of the change became more and more obvious as they got older, and one day they found that their peers had become experts in a certain field, the father/mother of a lovely child, and they still stayed where they were, still enjoying life. Fragments, and no full story that can be recalled for a lifetime.
The Chinese New Year is over, don't dream long, the past is like falling flowers and flowing water... If you can create eternity in fragments and find passion in continuity, then life will probably be more perfect. Yes, there is no perfection in this world, it's just good to have less regrets.
