There are serious propositions hidden behind the B-level blood. I personally think that the creator's idea is higher than the "Sin City" that was born out of the comics. This is when the homeless faces the babies in the delivery room through the glass. The monologue clearly expresses that the streets are dirty and messy, but religious redemption and public security are absent. The lawn mower is a metaphor for eradicating evil that grows like weeds and seeking balance with violence.
Tramps and prostitutes seem to be the typical examples of the most degraded and disadvantaged groups at the bottom. In order to survive all day long, they are struggling with their dignity to be forgotten between reality and longing. The prostitute Abby comes out of the grocery store near the end to face the "speech" ambassadors who are trying to besiege her. He was transformed into Joan of Arc at once, and the red-painted portraits of Jesus and Joan of Arc on the wall before the tramp were caught in the dungeon just echoed each other, symbolizing the death of faith. The photo is like another image that implies the real "Savior" in reality.
The whole story is actually a PoP hand-painted portrait of contemporary American society. It explores the enlightenment brought to us by drugs, street violence, public security corruption, pornography, unemployment, and the collective disorder caused by the value orientation of the media.
