The story tells the story of two men - an ambitious white surgeon and a black medically gifted surgeon - who break down racial boundaries, join forces and become pioneers in heart surgery. This film and television produced by HBO once again devotes its attention to the production of the drama with a heavy sense of history. The relationship between the two men who are also masters, servants, teachers and friends in the play deeply touched the hearts of the audience. Among them, Alan Rickman, who plays the white doctor, successfully created the image of a man who is not restricted by conservative ideas, has a strong will, and cherishes friendship. He is the most shining character in the series. The plot of the play not only moved the general audience, but also won the favor of various TV awards.
