human nature? ! reason? !

Watching this movie was once again a breath of fresh air for 3D technology. But on the other hand, when I was frightened by those tragic and slightly terrifying deaths, I threw myself into my boyfriend's arms, and at the same time I felt that human nature is really wonderful and complicated...
What is the so-called human nature? Human nature? The desire to survive, fear of loneliness and want to blend in with the crowd... all kinds of natures manifested in special circumstances?
Josh was puzzled, angry, and resentful from watching his father seem to kill his companions under the deep water, to the step-by-step understanding of what his father did when they escaped the danger together. This is a process of his growth and a baptism in his life. From a sensual and excited teenager, he slowly moved towards rationality, but he was still kind: he went back and forth only to rescue his teammates who were about to die, and distributed the little food left to himself and his father for his own escape. Carl; he was tenacious, rational, composed in the process of survival... and finally escaped.
The human nature of Josh and his son shows a beautiful side. Of course, I can't understand why Frank "killed" his companions at first. Why did he ask others to use a ventilator with him and then live alone? And then later kill another dying companion, I don't know if I'm cold, I think it's like euthanasia, of course, it's so that everyone won't die for just one person, he's rational, cold, witty, indifferent... I Worship such a man, will he not express love? No, his love is still strong and beautiful, and when he asks his son to read his wife's favorite poem, is it doomed to end his life? The lives of him and his companions came to an end beautifully. Their lives were perfect and splendid.
And what about the other two? Not the villains, it's just that the humanity they show in that condition is just a different one - selfish, blind. I admit that if it were me, I wouldn't have done a better job than them, maybe even less cool and more impatient. But I think I know better than Victoria that life is more important than death in that situation. She refused to wear the diving suit on the dead man, even if it was the only one, and she was half-frozen and almost couldn't get through the narrow passage; she refused to follow Frank's instructions to cut her hair with a knife, and she cut the rope and fell into the abyss to her death. What about her lover Carl? Selfish, in the end, what I thought of was not to live, but to blame Frank for his girlfriend's death, in an attempt to kill him (in fact, it was equivalent to homicide, although it was Josh who gave his father the last ride). People, when their lives are on the line, the mental state they show is really different, but it's hard to highlight a character like a hero, right?
However, no one is right or wrong in this movie, it is just that people have different attitudes towards life and death due to their different ability to withstand pressure and psychological quality.
In the end, I still liked the poem Kublai Khan by Coleridge, a poet of the lakeside school. The cave, poured into the sea without the sun... Beautiful, majestic and sad poetry... It corresponds to the fascinating and unfathomable abyss that has taken so many lives.
