Dante in 2 is still a useless clerk, but his life is finally about to change.
He's going to marry a rich girl, move to Florida, and his father-in-law is going to give them a house and let him manage an auto shop.
But in the end, Dante chose to stay, to be with the person who truly loved him, and not to abandon his friends.
What makes me feel is what Randal said:
the dude who lives his life according to everyone else's standards.
She likes you for who you are, she ain't trying to stuff you into a box you'll never fit into.
If you had any sense whatsoever, you'd stop trying to bray it up with the rest of the sheep and live
your life the way it makes senses for you. Li, the standard, dare not follow the heart.
Or worse yet, not having an independent mind of its own.
How brave and powerful do you have to be to break through these shackles?
For me, it's still unknown.
