Biutiful - 7/10

The famous Mexican director Alessandro has made a new attempt this time, abandoning his usual puzzle narrative method and choosing a straight line plot. This should be a matter of opinion. I personally still like his old tricks. Biutiful has complex themes, it's a film about life and death, forgiveness and redemption, and it's mostly about dissecting human nature. The protagonist Javier Bardem is really a good actor. If this film is produced in Hollywood, maybe he can really win the best actor with this film.

  • Bea: You can give up, let yourself go... or grit your teeth and hang on like stupid people do.
