What a rubbish!

What a rubbish.
The film has a very good story, which can tell the change of people's psychology and the accident of love, but I didn't expect such a pretty good story to be filmed so badly!
The foundation of the story exists, but there is no basis for the development of the plot, so many scenes in the film seem abrupt to me, not natural at all, the portrayal of the characters in the story is poor, and the image is too blunt and not full at all.
And this promises that the actor's performance is terrible - Uncle Reeves can't act at all, the expression of the whole film has not changed much, and the lines are even more pale, in short, it is a great failure, due to the organization of the story itself. It's not good, so that other actors' performances, even if they are superb, lack a carrier of a good story to express their spiritual qualities, which is very empty and face-to-face...
In short, the film did not attract me during the viewing process. It makes me feel like I wasted two hours of my own, it's really bad, maybe what it wants to express is very profound, the helpless and boring life of aimless middle-aged people, what they want to change in the confusion, lost All, but harvested love, and so on. However, all of this is too preachy and a failure of the space hole, and the film also needs to be carried forward!
Finally, I suggest everyone not to watch it, it is enough for Uncle Reeves to maintain his image in The Matrix!

  • Max: Are you kidding me? This is your plan? An old cartoon in a pissoir?

    Henry Torne: It's a start.

Max: No, this is 80 years ago. Wait. I tell you what we do. We do it the old-fashioned way.

Max: We go in with guns.

    Henry Torne: No guns.

    Max: Why?

Henry Torne: Someone could get hurt.

Max: That's very sweet of you, Henry.

  • Henry Torne: What are you doing afterwards?

    Julie: Why?

    Henry Torne: You like Chinese?

    Julie: Yeah.

    Henry Torne: Jinlan?

    Julie: Yeah, it's OK.

    Henry Torne: Eight o'clock?

    Julie: Sure.

    Henry Torne: Great.

    Julie: Great.
