What is life, is it to climb a train that does not know where it is going? Sometimes it really is, and you don't know how it will turn out.

Dare to be more inspirational, can the world view be more realistic? As a college student, I admired Jocob's persistence and courage, and shot the terminally ill big white horse; I admired Jocob's shit luck and discovered the formula for taming the elephant; I lamented the love between Jocob and Marlena, the spring of the boss's wife is coming; I admire Jacob Acting for the sky, get rid of the black-hearted boss August who threw people off the train and abused animals.

The decline of top students, until they rise. Believe in love, believe in the power of knowledge. Believe in the pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty.

There is still a problem with the rhythm, there is not enough emotional foreshadowing, and I feel that a lot of things that should be said have not been said. Fortunately, the elephant is still very good, and I actually think Brother Wufang is quite handsome in it, and Reese Witherspoon is also very beautiful, especially the small figure, which is really charming. Finally, this poster is really beautiful.

Water for Elephants quotes

  • Jacob: [after scarey incident feeding the lion] You think that's funny?

    August: [laughing] Yes, I do.

Jacob: I could have lost my arm!

August: No, you couldn't have. He doesn't have any teeth.

  • Marlena: He sold off two dead-beat clowns and a train car so he could buy Lucinda, our lovely fat lady. And Rex.

    August: Rex.

Marlena: But you kept the coochie girls, didn't you?

August: No denying they're good revenue. I needed money. So I had to scavenge every dead circus for every act we have.

Marlena: But you didn't have to buy me, did you?

August: No. I had to marry you.

    Marlena: That's right.
