I give two stars again

I didn't expect to write another review for this movie until the last post "Unfortunately, Sister Peggy" was too high for useless tickets (2 votes worked, 6 votes were useless) and couldn't be displayed in the public area. I didn't know much about this rule before, and I don't know if it makes sense. Looking back at the popular movie reviews, it is at least four stars.
I don't know what effect giving a movie two stars has on the movie, whether it is as bad as the bad reviews on Taobao cause some people to lose a lot. Intuitively, it is the freedom of the audience to give a few stars, and the classic is just a state, not a status. If any great god knows the consequences of two stars, please leave a message and let me know, I would be very grateful.
I explained the reasons for the two stars one by one, and if you are willing to pay attention, you can discuss. Disclaimer I'm just a general audience, likes and dislikes are just feelings.
In my personal standards, the quality of a film has the following aspects: whether the subject matter is unique, whether it expresses unique thinking or feelings, and whether it is good to follow others' opinions and stir up cold rice; whether the plot is complete, rigorous and logical, and the script is bland. Not outstanding is not considered excellent; whether an actor can make the audience feel immersed in his performance, or not when he recites lines without expression, is not warm enough, or is overly emotional; Whether there are any flaws in natural and historical common sense (the surreal plot requires self-consistency), this can actually be done, but it should not be too outrageous. To add, you don't need to be satisfied with everything. If there is any aspect that stands out, it will be fine.
The basic idea of this film is nothing new, it's just anti-heroism in the end, which is nothing new. In fact, there are many films with similar themes. The key lies in the way of narration and original perspective. It can be said that these are not obvious in the film. The psychological dark corners of heroes, the indiscernibility of justice, and the entanglement of people in it - if there is any so-called connotation that can be drawn, but this is it. These are not eye-catching, but rather familiar. The fringe man with a cuckold broke out and joined a crazy little girl to "act as a chivalrous man". To put it bluntly, he used violence to satisfy his sense of deprivation and enforce his own standards of good and evil. Later, he was confused because the little girl Sacrificed, cuckold dropped and tangled, there's nothing to praise about the whole story. Elf Princess Liv Tyler's performance is also not brilliant, the reason for the derailment and the reason for the change of heart are lack of foreshadowing, which seems inexplicable. The pictures and editing are tepid, and there are no bright spots. There is absolutely no relaxed and hearty pleasure like "Kai Bian Wang". The only thing to watch is Ellen Page, the role, performance and face and body count. I do personally prefer Peggy, the two stars are for her, I don't hide it.
When a person holds a large wrench and beats people to death just for jumping in line, and expresses hoarsely that "it's not okay to jump in line", what I see is not just excessive, but distortions and perversions, not so much It is to act bravely, it is better to say that others are the object of venting, but it is just wearing a cloak to maintain justice. "It just doesn't work." This is the tone of moral fundamentalism. It doesn't make sense, doesn't give opportunities, can't question, can't refute, and can't defend. As long as I don't think it's right, you deserve to be dealt with by me. This is outright tyranny. Have a reflection? Maybe there is, but the strength is not enough. I, a person whose IQ is not lower than the normal level, did not realize it.
So I insist on giving it two stars. If you want, please convince me with your opinion, otherwise don't point fingers and say "if you watch movies purely for entertainment, it is not difficult for me to understand your comments". I waited for the fart people to be entertained. Please leave the preaching gods.
Attachment: The original film review "Unfortunately, Sister Peggy"
I watched this film for Peggy. To be honest, this kind of anti-hero theme is already too familiar, and it is difficult to be outstanding without finding another way.
The four-word summary from the beginning to the end is unintelligible. The performance is either ignorant of the so-called, or rambling. The extremely vulgar conception and the forced sublimation ending make people feel like they are seeing the sea.
For a film that is unqualified in all aspects, it is difficult to expect to turn things around with one actor. Even though I watched Peggy's performance alone, she was still so easy to advance and retreat, and she was so calm and upside down.
I have to say that the only good thing about this film is Peggy, but the evil film still wastes her. Seeing her perform so hard and make a small breakthrough, I can't help but feel sad. Peggy is still Peggy, but the film is no longer Juno.
It's a pity, the powerful cast, especially the cute sister Peggy.

  • Sarah Helgeland: What are those?

Frank D'Arbo: I'll wake up and see these first thing every morning. My perfect moments. They can inform my day. Set me in the right direction.

Sarah Helgeland: The hands are a little big, don't you think sweetheart?

  • Frank D'Arbo: [Last lines] So maybe you think something's wrong with me. Maybe you thought I was gonna learn what Jacques said was true. That I was deluded. That I was as evil as the rest of them. But maybe you're the one that needs to learn something. I know how it looks. But sometimes how it looks, and how it is, are two different things. The truth was in my heart. I followed it. And I saved Sarah. She stayed with me a couple months. They were not bad times. Though they were most likely out of Sarah's sense of obligation. But one morning, she moved on. I thought it was me at the time, that I was the chosen one. But it was Sarah, all along. And that's why I needed to save her. She needed to finish school, to study anthropology, because Sarah knows something about people. She needed to go back to her meetings, where she had insights that struck others uniquely. And sometimes she needed to have nightmares of those ugly times at Jacques' ranch. Because a kind man, a man who was good and didn't know it, needed to learn how to comfort someone. And maybe, most of all Sarah needed to have Patrick, and Trevor, and Laura, and Joy. Four children who probably wouldn't be at all if Libby and I hadn't gone to Jacques' ranch that night. Maybe, if all of us are lucky, they're the ones who are gonna change the world. And me? Well I got that rabbit after all. That, and something much more.
