Just as Jack was about to change his shift, he was assigned the task of escorting a criminal from prison to court, and he was full of discomfort.
The escort, Eddie (Moss Duff), the criminal who happens to be a chatterer, makes Jack a head and two big as he keeps mumbling along the way. Two and a half stars. The story is unclean and extremely thin and simple, the rhythm is dull and protracted, the character building is weak, the climax does not come until the end of the film, and the gunfight chase scene is uninteresting. The old cloth is also old.

16 Blocks quotes

  • Jack Mosley: Oh yea, you give the car keys to your best friend and you let him take the old lady to the hospital. You stay at the bus stop with the girl because she's the girl of your dreams, right? So everything is going to be ok.

  • Frank Nugent: [after the shootout in Chinatown, Nugent is talking to Mosley through the door] You still there, Jack?

Jack Mosley: Yeah, I'm still here.
