The escort, Eddie (Moss Duff), the criminal who happens to be a chatterer, makes Jack a head and two big as he keeps mumbling along the way. The journey was only 16 short blocks, and Jack stopped to buy some wine to pass the time, but when he walked out of the store, he found that a killer was aiming at Eddie.
