The anti-drug story adapted from Robin Moore's real work has won five awards for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing. The story tells the story of two New York police officers who pursued it relentlessly and finally cracked a massive heroin smuggling case from France. Director William Friedkin brings cop movies to a new world of entertainment with a tight and lively approach. The location of the whole film was shot in New York and Marseille, with a strong sense of realism. The tracking scene in the film is very well done, especially the scene where the car chases the viaduct train in parallel has become a classic for the speeding scene. Jean. Hackman played the rugged police detective "Pop" (Popeye), and his dynamism made him an international superstar.
