Adapted from the novel of the same name, it is the first in the "Hereditary Trilogy", incorporating fantasy elements such as flying dragons, war horses, elves, dwarves, etc., as well as a large number of medieval place names and ancient Celtic languages. In the mountains full of strange legends, the hunting boy Eragon (Eragon) found a blue stone. Unexpectedly, this stone actually hatched a blue flying dragon! Eragon named the dragon "Saphira" and regarded her as his closest friend. However, Sapphira caused the death of Eragon's relatives. A grieving Iragon, in order to seek revenge, began to learn magic, swordsmanship, and ancient sayings, and finally embarked on a arduous journey of revenge. The director of the film, Stephen Founmeer, is directing a feature film for the first time. He has previously served as the special effects supervisor of the "Industrial Light and Magic" company, and his proud works include "Saving Private Ryan" and "The Perfect Storm".
