If I can't afford you sugar cubes, please don't mind accepting my mulberries.

This is my first time writing a movie review. Although I know there shouldn't be many people I see, I still have to encourage myself!

I have always liked Hayao Miyazaki. From Totoro to Spirited Away. I haven't seen Castle in the Sky and Howl's Moving Castle, but that doesn't stop me from liking it as well.

After a long time, I still watched it. The same is true of Ponyo on the cliff. But I didn't finish watching Ponyo on the Cliff, she was young and energetic at that time.

Some people say that this is a story caused by sugar cubes, and some people say that this is a tragic ending.

I saw the cry at the end because the big cat changed his mind about the little girl and the boy ran to see the little girl off despite his heart condition. When I saw the little savage taking up the bow and arrow to shoot the boy, I was very scared, even though I knew that the arrow would have no lethality.

I watched it without reading the review. I want to write after reading it. So I started writing without looking at anyone's film reviews, and it turned out to be the way it is now.

The little girl who borrowed things is very lovable. Achun is disgusting. Boys are my type. Clean, kind, like a small poplar.

I've liked him since he said, "Don't be afraid."
As for Achun. Since "A-Chun parked like this again." I hated her from the beginning.

But I always thought that A Chun was a good person. I have been waiting for her transformation. Even after she caught Arrietty's mom I thought she wasn't really a badass.

I was wrong. I repent.

She wants to sell the money after catching the villain. In fact, this guy is quite naive, like a child. Including the subsequent application of credit and the annoyance after finding out that everything is over.
On the other hand, Xiang is too mature, um, well-read, and faces human feelings too early. The words he said to Arrietty, saying that there are 6.7 billion human beings and only a few of you are very hurtful. But he just hoped that the villain could face up to his status and not be in vain. (I understand it this way.)

I feel like there is no love.
What do you think.
It feels... just like the two sisters feel about Totoro. Just saw the legend.

In fact, this film has a lot of complaints, I want to forget! forget!

Oh, are they really borrowing things, but they haven't seen them pay them back.

There are a lot of things that I accidentally left out of my sight and never found again. Now I wonder if there are villains living in the house and they borrowed it?
(Sure enough, the influence of the movie is very big. Just like watching the world of Truman, I feel that I live on an island of lies.)

I want to know how Arrietty can read and understand "You" lost things".
I wonder when she took the flower Xiang gave to Arrietty.
And what was written on the note under the flower.
"I want to see you." What? Or... "I'm sorry."

Little Savage was right. After all, they are people of one world.
But I swear, she will never forget Xiang in her life.
Well, kind and docile little boy.

The Secret World of Arrietty quotes

  • Shô: You came back. Wait, don't go.

Arietty: Please, leave us alone. I wanted to tell you that.

Shô: I want to talk to you.

Arietty: Human beings are dangerous. If we're seen, we have to leave. My parents said so.

  • Arietty: I have to go. When is your operation?

Shô: The day after tomorrow. I'm going to be okay. You gave me the courage to live.

Arietty: [Unclipping the pin from her hair & giving it to Shawn] For luck.

    Shô: Thanks.

Arietty: [Now crying] You protected me after all.

    Shô: Arrietty...

Arietty: I hope you have the best life ever. Goodbye.

Shô: Arrietty, you're a part of me now. I'll never forget you, ever.
